Trek out to Camp ICA!
Join us on September 6th to explore the great outdoors- inside the ICA! Inspired by ICA’s current exhibition Surreal Sublime, Camp ICA celebrates nature and the outdoors with two First Fridays on August 2nd and September 6th. Venture into the wilderness and participate in camp themed activities including performances, hands-on projects, educational stations, and more.
Camp ICA activities include:
- Experience a Shadow Puppet Opera Performance by artist Lydia Greer and opera singer Shauna Fallihee
- Hunt for Bigfoot in the landscapes of Surreal Sublime
- Build a campfire with Lucidbeaming’s interactive installation Embers
- Sit back and relax on the lawn and take in the panoramic views of Surreal Sublime
- Learn about biodiversity and wildlife with UC Santa Cruz’s Norris Center
- Snack on camp-themed treats
