Talking Art: Lecture from the Curator of the

Join us at the Hello Kitty Monument for an engaging performance by Kathy Aoki, Curator of the Museum of Historical Makeovers, in conjunction with the ICA’s current exhibition #WishYouWereHere. Known for her fictitious academic excellence, Aoki will deliver a humorous lecture that will reveal the historical underpinnings of the world’s obsession with cuteness while she reflects on her experiences as research fellow at the Hello Kitty Monument in 2008. Suspension of disbelief is highly recommended, but not required.
