Join us at the ICA San José on Friday, December 4th, from 5-9pm for an exciting evening of zine-making! Dive into this unique art form and unleash your creativity as you explore different materials and themes.
As part of SoFA First Fridays, a cherished monthly tradition that unites the San Jose artistic community, we are thrilled to collaborate with the talented SJSU CADRE professor Andrew Blanton and CADRE graduate students, who will guide you through the zine-making process. While you create, be sure to check out our exhibition, To Give and Take, featuring the work of Greg Ito, whose work delves into themes of sacrifice and renewal.
This workshop is free and open to all, making it the perfect opportunity for seasoned artists and newcomers to express themselves. No previous experience is required! Though drop-ins are welcome, RSVPs are appreciated to help us prepare. Come join us for a night of creativity, inspiration, and community at the ICA San José, where art and social connection come together. We can’t wait to see you there!
